Mary (Carson) Norris Sun, 02 Jan 2000 17:31:27 I am looking for John CARSON and Minervia Jane (Cherry) CARSON. They came in a covered wagon to Pleasanton, Linn Co. Kansas sometime in the early 1870's, and settled there to raise their family. They had seven children there. He was a Veterinarian.They lived there until their death and are buried at the Pleasanton Cemetery. My question would be, is there any way I could find out what John's middle name was? There is supposed to be one other Carson buried with them, could I find out who that could be. Thank you |

He died on March 22, 1887 and was buried in Goodrich Cemetery. She moved her family back to Illinois after James' death. Also would like to know the exact roads to take to get to Goodrich Cemetery. Mark David Tue, 29 Feb 2000 13:21:40 I found this is the Kansas Listing.... I am searching for information on my Grandfather and Grandmother- James Robert LYNCH/Ferrol Louise WILSON. What I do know is that he worked for the Coleman lamp Company in 1940 in Kansas. As of 8/21/1940 he reports being 40 years old on my dad's (Robert Thomas Lynch) birth certificate in Wichita Kansas. It says James Robert Lynch was born in Janesville, Wisconsin. J.R. Lynch has/had one sister that I know of she calls/called herself 'Kate' Lynch: she married a Vernon H. Ewing and did live in California later. He married Ferrol Louise Wilson when she was about 14 or 15. (she was 36 on dad's birth cert.) She was born in Albany, WI. F. Louise had some siblings known to me as: Darby Wilson - male Ivan Wilson - male 'Beth' Wilson - female about 10 years younger than Ferrol. Beth had a son named Bobby F. Louise Wilson and J.R. Lynch Their kids were: James H. Lynch Virginia Lynch Robert Thomas Lynch(my dad) Paul Wilson Lynch Jerry Lynch Genevieve Lynch (died two weeks after birth) At some point the moved from Kansas to New Jersey (short time) then settled in Long Island New York where most of the children grew up. After all the kids were grown the moved , James and F. Louise to California. Any info you might have on Lynch/Wilson family in the Kansas area around 1905-1940 would be most appreciated. Evelyn Francis(mother), son Benjamin Franklin, daughters, Elizabeth Virginia &Evelyn Matilda LOVEALL. In Evelyn's funeral record it states she moved with family to Blue Mound. In July 1885 John Thomas and Betsey moved to LaCygne, Linn Co, Kansas where they had a grocery store. They were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Betsey died in 1912 according to an article from the "LaCygne Journal" newspaper. Can anyone help us with this family? We have information to share. |

Waid was born 26 Nov. 1858 in La Cygene. I don't know how many years the family remained there. They probably stayed until 1884 when John C. Waid was married to Emma Abigail Abbey. My information indicates that Robert Waid did move on to Illinois were he died. |
