I find this family in 1865 census Linn Co, KS and 1870 census Linn Co, KS. Children are William S MALLON b 14 July 1849 Bates Co, MO and d unknown, suspect somewhere in Texas. He married Subina HARPER 19 Sep 1867..I have info for William S MALLON descendants, but nothing for his siblings. George W MALLON b abt 1851 Bates Co, MO; Thomas H MALLON b abt 1855 Bates Co, MO; James R MALLON b abt 1858 Bates Co, MO; Mary J MALLON b abt 1859 Bates Co, MO and John F MALLON b abt 1862 Linn Co, KS. This family moved from Bates Co, MO to Linn Co, KS sometime prior to birth of last child abt 1862. William S MALLON and Subina HARPER were my gr grandparents. Am wondering what happened to siblings of William S MALLON. Can anyone help? |

They also lived across the border in Bates CO. Missouri. Jefferson Davis FULPS married Emma Louvica LOWMAN on 21 Jan 1887 at Pleasanton, Linn CO. Kansas. Prior to his union, Jefferson Davis FULPS was married to a woman by the name of Sadie, they had one son by the name of Wilburn FULPS. Have lot of information on both families. |

SALINA JANE HOPKINS HANNA b Oct 1823 Ohio, lived in Linn Co.,Blue Mound...with her husband JOHN GOODLOE HANNA a medical doctor. John died Feb 19, 1887 and is buried in Old Cemetery, Blue Mound. Their children, Cyrus Goodloe Hanna, Ruth Elmira Hanna, Robert William Hanna, were born in Taney Co., MO. A grandchild, Robert William Hanna b March 5, 1884 Blue Mound. A granddaughter, Margaret Gertrude Hanna married Jan 1, 1889 in Pleasanton, Ks to Samuel Barton Meek. 2. GEORGE HORNBACK HOPKINS b 1825 Logan Co. Ohio, also lived in Linn Co., in Prescott, with his wife MARTHA DENISON. George had five children born in Linn Co from 1864 to 1874. They were Martha Malissie Hopkins, Cyrus Grant Hopkins, Ella May Hopkins, Lillie Cora Hopkins and Sarah Bell Hopkins. His older children were born in Missouri and Iowa. |

I am searching for Artemesa PRYOR, DOB 03/19/1838, married Jacob Alexander "Alex" SIGMON in Lykins Co.,KS on 12/06/1859. They lived in Linn Co.,KS near Le Cynge until after the Civil War. Then moved to Benton Co., Arkansas where she died 02/06/1875. After Artemesa's death Alex married her sister, Cynthia PRYOR SMITH. Artemesa was my great-great grandmother. James and Mary had George [or John] b 1847 in Bates Co., MO; Lewis Franklin b Jan 16, 1849 in Bates Co., MO m 1st Emma and 2nd Lou Emma MORGAN; Byron Wright b Aug 31 1853 in Bates Co., MO m Alice Gertrude BEARDSLEE; and Martha Susan b Apr 8, 1859 in Linn Co., KS m Wiley Jasper COX. Mary Ann Osborn is suppose to have married a Pyle. Adalide Osborn m a STEINBAUGH. I do not know if they married in Linn Co. or what happened to them. Their children were: George/John b 1847 in Bates Co., MO; Lewis Franklin b 01/16/1849 in Bates Co., MO; Byron Wright b 08/31/1853 in Bates Co., MO; and Martha Susan b 04/08/1859 in Linn Co., KS [she is suppose to be the first white woman born in Linn Co.]. James, Mary and the children moved from Bates Co., MO to Linn Co., KS in the spring of 1854. James is the son Robert and Mary [PRICE] OSBORN(e). Some of James' siblings also moved to Linn and Bourbon Counties. I'm also interested in information of George/John OSBORN. |

His parents were George & Hanna (Anna ?) (BRUFF) BROWN. Addison married Ida Mae LIVINGSTON on 24 Mar 1890 in Polo, IL and lived there several years. At some time Addison & Ida moved to Iowa where they spent the rest of their lives farming. Any information would be appreciated. |
