Searching for George and Caroline (WILLIAMS SHULL) TUSH. They moved to Kansas between 1881-83. May have been in Miami County. By 1900 they were in Lincoln Township, Linn Co, Kansas. They were married before 1878 probably in Illinois. Their children were: 1) Roy TUSH, born April 1878 in Illinois 2) Hugh TUSH, born January 1881 in Illinois 3) Pearl TUSH, born December 1883 in Kansas. We have some information to share about Roy and his family.

My ggrandmother was EMOGENE C. GATES, born in Linn County July 12, 1855. She married JOHN WARREN GLENN in 1878. The family moved from Linn County to Chautauqua County between 1881 and 1883. They had 6 children with only 2 surviving, WARREN EARL GLENN (May 17, 1881 in Linn County) and FRANK ELMER GLENN (August 7, 1883 in Chautauqua County). JOHN WARREN GLENN was born in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1838. I would be very appreciative of any information regarding either of the parents above mentioned, particularly EMOGENE C. GATES. FRANK ELMER GLENN was my grandfather and I would be happy to share the limited information I have regarding the GLENN family.

I am searching for tidbits, stories and information about my ancestor Temple WAYNE. He came to Linn County from Audrain County Missouri in 1856 to help the Pro Slave admission of Kansas as a state. Temple WAYNE was born in 1798 in Virgina and lived in Kentucky before settling in Audrain County Missouri and eventually Linn County Kansas. He died in 1864 (possibly in Linn County). He may have brought his wife Elizabeth GREGG WAYNE with him. I know that several of his sons came with him. Among them may have been Franklin Burt WAYNE, George Washington WAYNE, Alfred R. WAYNE, William S. WAYNE and Joseph WAYNE.

Any information about this branch of my family is greatly appreciated. I am also willing to share information I have with anyone researching the WAYNE family line.
